In 2023 I initiated a project which culminated in an Instagram takeover. The project involved asking a group of artists to make their own residencies over an extended period of time in an outdoor space of their choosing. There was no real time constraint, each of us preferring to work at the pace of a garden. It gave us time to be in a space, absorbing the outdoors, taking time to reflect and make work in response to the space. Below is my response to my garden, to the towering Echiums which dominated the space and the garden well filled with grass cuttings.
